Default Rear diff

I have been looking for a reputable shop to go up in gearing in the rear end of my 2016 5.0 for a long time. I’ve had no luck. Hoping someone can give me direction. Anywhere in California or vegas area. Thank you in advance.

It would be cheaper to get a used rear with gearing you want and e-lock. Salvage yards, etc...

Really? Id imagine it would be pretty hard to find a rear end with larger than oem gears. I’ve been on the search for gen 1 raptor rear ends for awhile with no luck.

Not that easy to find 3.73's let alone larger aftermarket gears in the junkyard. Even most lifted trucks are on stock gears.

I'd google in your area "axle shops." I just did that for Houston and it came up with 3....

Edit: Also, any of the major chain off-road shops should be able to do it.... we have 4WheelParts, All Out Offroad, etc, over here. I'm sure you have shops like that.

Well, 4wp is all over California and Nevada, and they do a ****-load of gearing changes.
I had their Santa Ana store do a gearing change for my on my '15 Yeep, and they did a good yob.
The good thing about a shop like 4wp, is that if say you had their Compton shop do the work, and you're in vegas when your dif lunches-warranty-able problem-
Since it's a national chain, their Vegas store can warranty/repair the dif for you , instead of you having to have your vehicle towed all the way back to Compton to have it done

For the most part, 4wp is staffed by mongoloid primates. Just be cautious and discriminating when dealing with them.
