Default Rear Defogger

Anyone have any trouble with the rear defogger....passenger side and sliding rear window quit working on mine...driver's side and outside mirrors still work

That’s a very common problem it seems. On my last F150 I had to have the rear window replaced twice for the exact same issue (2017 XLT302A). So far my 2019 Lariat still has a functioning rear defrost, but I’m sure it’ll too be broken within a year lol.

I'd clean the slider frame well, and run it back and forth. Window must be closed all the way.

Yup, had exactly the same problem in my 2018 XLT 302A sport. Ford replaced the window under warranty. I read the that it is a common problem as well and replacing the window only solution.

Yes they have. Here is a bit of a cautionary tale from another forum member. The poster in the link below may not want to be a member much longer...

Don't make defrosters like they used to, evidently.

Thanks for the link rohada....wondering if I should even think about fixing it now...truck has extended warranty....100 dollar deductable....and the dealer, who by the way had it for 2 days and kept telling me nothing was wrong that it was working fine did tell me they would have a glass company come out and replace it
