I have a 2015 XLT that I believe had a back-up camera at one point as the wiring is in place and previously gave a message along the lines of "No rear camera signal" when shifting into reverse on the 4" display.
I recently picked up a used tailgate with the step, flood light, and a rear camera that I installed. I had to redo some of the wiring as the connectors were different however everything is functioning properly now except the rear camera (showing no signal on my stereo). Prior to this I also installed the PAC RPK4-FD2201 dash kit with the factory camera adaptor and an aftermarket radio.
In Forscan my BCM 726-39-02 was already set to the correct values for a back-up camera and the FCDIM module is missing due to the aftermarket radio install. In my mind all I am missing from what I've read is a BCM Local Interconnect Network New Module Calibration. However when I go to run this calibration I get the Forscan error "Test aborted. Perform a self-test to identify any diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs)". I have the below BCM DTCs mainly related to the TPMS system with one relating to the camera. Do these DTCs need to be cleared before I can run the calibration? I tried to clear them and re-run the calibration but they are still present.
I am planning to install some new wheels with proper TPMS in the upcoming months to clear these error however is there another way around this? Any feedback or guidance is appreciated, thanks!
