Default Rear camera dark

I recently upgraded my 2020 F150 XL with a new double din headunit, I had the 4" sync 3 radio and installed an iDatalink FTR1 dash kit with a Maestro RR with a Boss Audio BE920WCPA. I love the upgrade and there were a few quirks with like the stock rear camera being reversed which I fixed but there is no way to adjust how to change the camera setting beyond brightness and gamma. The camera during the daytime is fine and the same quality as before however at night the camera is pretty much unusable, The image is so dark and pretty much unusable. I was hoping anybody had any idea on how to either improve the camera quality or help me find the solution in my software.

Looking at that head units owners manual it mentions gamma setting for both day time and night time. Check the display settings and set the gamma for night time so the image isn't as dark.

I’ve looked throughout the manual and there isn’t any further settings I can change besides gamma and brightness. When I’ve played with the settings there is almost no change in image appearance besides the screen getting brighter or washed out
