Rear Armrest Issue Update

Just heard from the service mgr at the dealership. The Ford Service bulletin as of TODAY advises dealerships NOT to try to fix the issue at this time until further notice...
It says they are aware of the issue and it is currently being analyzed by the engineers -- hopefully this means they will address it in the near future.
He sent the bulletin to the Ford regional rep and cc'ed me on the email with the PDF bulletin attached.

Can you try to attach the pdf for us?

I work at KCAP in the engineering side of things. I posted this exact reply in the "KC Updates?" thread seeing as how I work there and someone had asked about this problem. I then saw this thread and figured I'd let you guys in on what I know...
Followed up on this today. Problem seems to be on the supplier side of things. They are aware of the issue and are going to have to resew the arm rests. Didn't get an ETA of the new parts.
Another part of it was the design. The new seats are more declined I believe is how I was described and the designers did not make the proper adjustments for the new angle the arm rest would be at when upright. Moving the bracket that the rest is attached to will help this issue.
They're hoping both of these fixes will solve this problem

Very pleased with Ford for acknowledging the issue and working on a fix. Hopefully the end result is positive.
Now if they would do the same with the inverter.
