Just a quick update. My Plat was in for service on Friday and no new news in OASIS when they looked. My dealer said they will monitor it and let me know when Ford posts a resolution.

At a dealer other day roughly a dozen freshly delivered trucks 10 out of the 12 where super crews of various trim levels ( XLTs, Lariats and a Platinum ) everyone of them I noticed all the back armrest sticking out. My guess, issue hasn't been resolved yet.

Hopefully, Ford lives by their mantra and improves the fit and finish of the interiors -

“Vehicle interiors have witnessed one of the biggest evolutions across the history of cars in recent years,” said Raj Nair, Ford’s VP of Global Product Development. “Not only have we introduced a great deal of useful new technology into our cars and trucks, we consistently are adding better materials, improved design and increased features across the board, from high-end vehicles to entry-level segments. All of this leads to a focus on design languages that not only convey the right messages, but deliver on an enhanced user experience.”

OP here. No update on my end. I think the dealer completely forgot about it, but I've been to busy to worry about it. It looks a little better than it did 3 months ago, but still not the way it should.

I have a 3/25 build and the rear arm rest is the same as others. Glad mine is down all the time so I will not notice it.

Put a call into my dealer today to see if anything new has shown up in OASIS. I'll post an update once I hear back from him.

Might actually help as there would be weight on the back of the seat. I would think that it wouldn't affect the safety of the vehicle or the passenger.
