I just turned 10k miles and the gas mileage seems to be improving. I just got 21mpg @65mph with 2 dirtbikes in the bed and towing an 8 X 10 trailer with a ATV on it! (according to the on board computer)...

Drive 50 miles per day. 60% at 62 mph and the rest is 30mph. I average 18.5 to 19.5 mpgs per week. Hand calc is usually within a few points. My discaimer is that I do live in some of the flattest earth of Minnesota though.
last weekend I drove 360 miles one way, speeds between 65-75 mph. Slight tail winds for 1/2 the trip. Cross wind for the other half. I averaged 21. My return trip of 360 miles, same speeds bucking a head moderate head wind most of the way, I averaged 18.5. My hand calculated round trip was just shy of 20.
I am a very conservative driver, I coast a lot and rarely let it idle unless the kids need the AC or heat. The big BUT is I rarely decline a drag race even when it's unintended lol.
I bought the truck with 29000 miles on it and have 35000 now. Trip 2 showed 13.1 mpg and it had never been reset. 1/3rd of it's previous life was spent at idle. Trip 2 now reads 13.5 mpg.
My first long trip was in April I bucked a hella wind one way and squeeked out 18mpgs. Return trip I towed an empty 22 foot aluminum snowmobile trailer (1100lbs) back into another hellish headwind and hand calculated 16.9
It may not be your real world mpgs but it's mine. And it's way better than my 2000 5.4 l V8

I averaged 18.5 when it was brand new driving up north to go hunting last fall.
But currently I'm only driving 4 miles round trip for work ... and it takes 20 min !!
Major construction by my house , bumper to bumper traffic !

I am very happy with the MPGs. 5.0, Super Crew 4x4 3.55 tow package 302A
Last 8 fillups has averaged over 18.6 mpg by hand and just over 19 computer.
It seems to be getting better with more miles.
I'd say I drive average to easy.

2017 Super Crew 2WD with 3.55 gear
According to the truck's computer, I'm averaging 13.7. It's definitely lower than I expected, but I love the 5.0 engine and would unquestionably buy it again.
