2016 2.7 with 50k. Went to merge on the freeway today and the truck stuttered and lost boost pressure. I looked down and the tranny was in 5th gear and would not shift out. I attempted to manually shift down to 4th but it would not shift. Came to a stop and the truck down shifted to 3rd and held that. Pressed the throttle and it dropped to 1st gear and drove normally the rest of the way home. Ever happen to anyone?

 

check fluid level/condition. you can always starts from there, easy and cheap before going to a shop and spend $$

 

 

Tranny acted up again, got stuck in 5th gear and threw codes P0720 and P0722, both mention the output speed sensor
