I have a new 2019 Lariat with keyless ignition. Sometimes the door chime noise will come on after I turn off the engine and open the door. The lights are not on, the parking brake is not set, the keys are not in the truck, the transmission is in park. Ive searched the owners manual and this forum but I cant figure it out. Its also intermittent...it will stop doing this for a week or two, then do it again randomly. Its driving me nuts! Any suggestions?

No. I deleted mine. I missed the part about you stating the lights were off. My suggestion was to make sure the lights were either off or not in auto.

There is no way to fully delete a post as far as I can tell. Some kind of text had to be present.
