So, I upgraded my 2015 F150 4.3 screen to the new 12.1 Tesla style tablet radio. Everything works as advertised except since the A/C is part of the radio screen it does not come on when I use remote start. I have asked to see if I could use the FORScan tool to enable the radio to be active when remote started and it doesn’t allow that option, the next option is to wire the radio differently to allow it to turn on when using the remote start. Has anybody done an aftermarket radio and needed to perform such a task? If so what is the best way to achieve the desired output without causing damage to the radio/ wiring? Looking for a 12V option that turns on and will still allow me to retain RAP?
