I've had my new 2019 XLT for a little over a week. I am having a issue with the radio display freezing or not working at all.

When I start the vehicle and put it in reverse, the back camera works. Then, when I try to shift back to drive it will either stay on the rear camera or go black. It may or may not come back on during the drive. If it does, the radio will not work.

Is this a wiring issue or something more? It's obvious under warranty, I just want to know what to expect when dealing with the shop.

Any thoughts?

 

Your Sync 3 needs to have the software updated

just fyi - Updating Sync 3 software is normally not covered under warranty. Be sure you take the TSB with you.
