Default Quick exhaust question

Is it actually possible to separate that front slip joint on the factory exhaust, and if so what's the easiest way to do it? Or does it come apart easier than it looks like it would?

I tried, but after 30k miles, it was frozen, so I cut my exhaust off at the muffler. The front clamp was not an issue. I figure if I sell the truck, I'm not worried about taking the aftermarket exhaust off anyway.

Ya know, you're right. I'm all worried about getting the exhaust off in one piece but really, if I take the stocker off it's never going back on.

Are you talking about where it connects to the resonator? If so, cut it. I had the entire exhaust out and we beat on it (tried to separate it) to make it easier to load in the back of the truck. It's still attached. The truck was basically new with 3K miles on it.
