Default Questions about mirror replacement

So one of my kids ran into my driver side mirror and broke the glass piece off. Just want to see if I will need the whole mirror assembly or just the mirror piece.

I have a 2016 F150 Lariat. The mirrors have the blind spot, turn signals, and rotate in and out. The mirror still folds in just fine, so no problem with the motor. Hoping that the whole assembly doesn’t have to be replaced though.

Scroll down until you find your mirror.

Looks like the glass is available. Unfortunately they're not giving it away. Hope this helps

As long as nothing else is damaged, i think you can get just the glass portion of the mirror.

I have a complete set of these mirrors off a brand new 2018 platinum for sale - power folding, spotlight, heated, etc. - cheaper than one mirror from Tasca...could prob buy them and sell the one you don't need to get some/most of your money back. They are chrome but you can swap your colored caps out easily. PM me if interested and can't fix yours.

You could also check on Ebay for mirrors, new isn't always the only choice. Car-part.com is another choice, 2015-2018 are pretty much the same mirrors. for that matter scrap yards. The part your holding in your hand doesn't look good, there is a small round piece that you pop out of the clips that hold it in place, you should not have all those little white pieces showing, hopefully they will go back together.

I ended up just taking it to the dealership because driving without a mirror was driving me insane. Part was $92(just needed a new motor, it came with all the attachment pieces) and they didn’t charge me labor. Could have been worse!
