Question on shocks?
So, reading lots of thread on how I need to replace the factory shocks with "brand x" to reduce hopping, skipping, rear end wiggle and global warming.
I have a 2017 XLT 4x4 and after 4K miles of mixed driving have never had the rear of the truck loose contact with the road or exhibit any sign of bad behavior.
1) Did Ford possibly upgrade shocks on 2017 model year trucks
2) Are the issues folks are having limited to 2 wheel drive models.
Not that I would not like to upgrade, just have not seen a pressing need thus far.
Thanks,
Jack

you might not be hitting the right conditions. I only get a hop when taking a gentle curve at a moderate-speed and I either a) hit a big crack in the road, b) hit loose gravel, or c) hit railway lines. It causes the back end to hop and wiggle.
