Default question on invoice pricing

I plan on ordering a truck, im getting quotes with msrp and then the dealers offer and they all say this is not invoice on the page, will they have invoice they are able to show or is that only after its purchased to be built. Or must i compare a similarly priced one?

There are a ton of threads on this.

I ordered in January. Work up your build on the Ford.com website exactly as you want it. Email that to 5-6 dealerships and ask them for their best price.

I emailed about 5 and most said invoice was what they would sell at. A Trucar.com dealership quoted me for $1500 under invoice minus any rebates as well. They are 45 miles from me, the dealership 9 miles away matched the price.

Some dealerships wont show you invoice, most will. It is on the build sheet when the dealership puts in the order, unless they are being sneaky and hide it from you.

and the OP started half of them probably

Zika, you could also build your truck online and check the A/Z Plan pricing. From what I understand, that's about as good as it's gonna get.

that's a little tricky, depends how tech savvy you are... what I posted in the "employee discount thread":
once you've built your truck online, go to "search inventory" or something like that.
once you see the table with the "matches", right-click on the price of the truck you're interested in, "inspect element".
Find the "div" with the MSRP, go down a couple lines, open a div or 2, and you'll see the X-Plan and A/Z Plan divs. look on the side, change "display:none" to "display:block" and voila!
not the most straight-forward method, but it works. Thanks to the guy who posted that a few months back!
for example, a $48,305 XLT has a A/Z Plan of $42,434.
Lariat $54,110 => $47,872
