Can anyone tell me the purpose of this wire and connector? It plugs to the dash piece on drivers side, but it's just a dead end connection. I assume it's for an option I don't have, however I don't have a clue what it would be for. Thanks.

 

It's part of the collision warning system for those equipped. That's where the warning LED strip goes.
