Default QUestion on B/U Camera and reverse sensors

Hi Everyone,

I have had my 2016 for almost a week now. Love it. - powerful

Just a couple of comments and questions

I find the backup camera not very clear or colorful as my wife's 2014 FX4. Does anyone else find this? It does have color but not crisp and bright colors as I am use too.

The reverse sensors beeps are extremely low. Post on another thread about this issue and someone mentioned about moving the transducer. Anyone know how to move or where the transducer is?

Thanks

98 views and no one can tell me what their back up camera is like? Is it a dull color or nice bright and clear?

It is way better than my 2010's rear view mirror display. But if I had to critique it I would say its too saturated (making it harder to pick out objects against a white background e.g. my trailer's hitch).

Thanks for your comment

Just to clarify to everyone, I have the 8" Nav screen for the camera display

I have the 8 inch screen with nav. Mines nice, bright and clear. I hear the beeps from my reverse sensors fine, as it mutes any audio playing!

If someone can't hear the sensors beep, the speaker module may need replacing...

Mine is the 8" with nav as well. Crystal clear display with the camera on. Same with the sensors. Mutes the audio as well. My 2014 was the same

I'd say my camera screens are on the dim side and not the sharpest image either, especially the knit-together bird's-eye view. I have the 8" screen. My backup sensors sound loud and clear though.

Congrats on the new truck!
