Question about wheels
Looking to replace the rims on by 2017 Blue Jeans Lariat. Trying to sort out all the offset, backspacing, load, etc - never done aftermarket rims before.
Currently, I have 275/65-18 E rated Yokohama tires on stock rims, which are 18x7.5, and I believe 44mm offset, with 1.5" spacers, which puts the tire pretty much even with the side of the truck. Might be able to go another 1/2" without sticking out too much. The yoko's still seem a bit small, and I think I can go at least another inch in diameter without rubbing (though the offset and backspacing I'm not sure about width wise).
Looking at the Ultra Crusher 17x8 rim, a fairly clean looking black rim, and going with 315/70r17 BFG KO2's, and going with the C range made for the Raptor. The load capacity on the "C" is 2500lbs (stock goodyear fortitudes were 2756lbs, but this rims load capacity is 2200lbs, so I don't think there's value in going with the E rated tire, and the C should be a more comfortable ride). I do tow a camper a couple times a year, but a fairly small one (no more than about 5000lbs fully loaded and is the biggest thing I tow). Per tire rack, the BFG's need an 8"-11" rim, so this is at the low end of that.
Looking at going down to 17" rims from 18" to get the softer C range KO2s, and black rims to dechrome things. At 25lbs, the reduced weight should make up for some of the increased weight from the bigger tires (the ko2's are about 26lbs more/tire that stock, the Ultra rims are about 9lbs less...)
The Ultra's are an 8" rim with a 25mm offset. If I plug this into http://www.rimsntires.com/specspro.jsp, it looks like they will stick out 1.5" more than stock, so I can remove the spacers and get about the same result I have now, but with a slightly wider more aggressive tire.
I have a 2.25" level up front (though I plan to replace this with Bilstiens set at 2.1" in the near future), and the rear is lifted 1" (not sure why, but the 2.25" lift up front made the front slightly higher rather than level, and an extra 1" in the rear made it closer to level). But I think with this, I *should* be able to run the 315/70r17 Raptor KO2's without any issues.
So.. questions are:
1. Anyone see anything I should be concerned about with this setup?
2. Anyone have any experience with or opinion of the Ultra's?
3. Anything I'm missing that I should be worried about?

The only thing is that you will be pretty squatted pulling your trailer that close to level, without bags or something.
You’ll also have a bit of sidewall bulge with that narrow of a rim, nothing super excessive, but definitely there.

Still looking around, and I saw a post where someone powder coated some stock raptor rims, and that looked really nice, though seems a bit expensive way to go, paying the price of the stock rims + powder coating, unless I find a good deal on ebay or something (I do like the fact that it's stock ford rims). The raptor rims are 8.5, so may see less bulge.
I'm debating between setting the Bilstiens to 2.1" or 1.76" - 1.76' would give me a little rake so it doesn't squat when towing, but I don't tow that often.
