Default Question about outside temperature display

Been noticing for a while, but on the display (where navigation, radio and phone are shown), that my temperature display doesn't seem to be working right. Today, it is in the low 90's and it showing 78 degrees for outside temperature. I thought, maybe it took a bit to adjust, but I drove around for over ten minutes and it stuck on 78. I did a master reset under the general options on radio display, but that didn't help. Guess a trip to the dealer is in order again, that and the A/C takes forever to get cold in the vehicle again, and they just replaced the brain in the dash for the A/C controls.

Robert, I got my new 2018 Lariat in February. Twice in the last week or so (with hot weather like you), I've also noticed where the outside temp display was "stuck" on a clearly wrong number. Once it stayed stuck even after the next time the truck was started but later that same day it started working right again. I don't know for sure yet since it's rare and intermittent, but I wonder if there's a loose connection to the thermometer. Even though we pay through the nose for things like fully-automatic climate controls and it should dang well work right, remember you can always override the climate controls if Auto isn't working.
