Question about Bed Mats?
Hey folks, still waiting to get my 2018 Lariat 3.5 back from the dealer for the timing chain job. In the meantime, I'm looking for a decent bed mat. My wife ordered me a WeatherTech one for Christmas but it seemed extremely thin and flimsy so I am returning it.
I'm looking at the oem ford mat FL3z99112A15A for my 5.5 bed. Anyone have pictures/thickness of this mat? Like/dislike? Found online for $107 wanted to ask y'all before pulling the trigger.
Thanks!

Ford factory 5.5' bed liner has been excellent and was 1rst in a 16 F150, then transferred to a 18 F150, now it's in the 19 F150.
Mat was a 1 time purchase in 3 trucks going on 5yrs old and still looks good and will go onto the next F150.
With having trucks for over 50 years it's the floor that takes a beating not so much the wheel wells and side walls.
Did the spray in bed liner in color match for a few years and when trading it didn't seem to add that much value vs the install cost.
3/8-1/2 thickness. Hauled bobcat attachments, shop tools, engines, boat motors, you name it it has been sat on the mat.
To clean it just roll up the tonneau cover leave the tailgate down and run the truck through the spray only car wash, this may not work on the longer trucks.
Once bought a off brand truck mat and it was a true bummer as every-time it was warm and you were in the truck bed on your knees it left black stains on your knees. Nothing with the the 150 mat in over 5 years.
Added a gap cover from the bed to the tailgate to stop debris falling onto the bumper below.
Also did the factory plastic tailgate protector but those stayed with the trucks. NOT the rubber mat which is way to heavy for proper tailgate operation. (Lariat and up electric release)

Another +1 for the OEM bed mat. Had one in my '14 and transferred to my '19. Very sturdy and things don't slide around. Had to do a little trimming to fit the 19 but still pretty much full coverage. I did opt for the bed rug for just on the tailgate. More comfy to sit on and can slide stuff into the bed easily. Velcros on so easy take off for cleaning.
