I apologize if this questions has been answered before but I find it very irritating when I'm in park and the sync 3 is lit up like a Christmas tree. I usually arrive at work about a half an hour early to listen to music and make last minute calls before going in. When I'm driving the sync 3 screen backlight is completely dimmed and everything looks great but when I put it in park the backlight is really bright. I've tried to adjust the dimmer but it doesn't do any good. I've tried going into setting and display on the sync 3 to no avail. I really need help figuring out how to dim the lights so that people at work don't think I'm a drug addict hanging in my truck before work. I need the lights dimmed. Please help!! And no, I'm not doing drugs, just hanging out before work.

 

Have you tried setting the display mode to "Night" instead of auto? You'd probably have to tinker with it regularly, since you'd want it back on Auto for driving around in the daytime.

 

No, it's on auto right now. That might work though!!!
