Default Question.....

I have a stupid but hopefully simple question that has to do with packages.

On a Lariat in order to get the quad LED head lamps you need the 502A package correct?

Then they are standard on the Platinum, KR and Limited?

A dealer has me all confused.

You are correct, to get the LED headlights you need to order the 502a package.

Thanks, I had a salemen argue with me about it and made me end up walking out of the dealership last night. They were pushing a Lariat with the 501 one on me and it's not what I wanted. Drives me crazy.

Remember this when looking for or trying to decide on an F150 excluding the Raptor.

Example....Using the Lariat that you mentioned as well as your interest in the Quad Beam LED Headlights.

A Lariat has everything that comes standard on the next lower level of F150 which is the XLT but it also adds more standard or upgraded items such as leather seats which are only offered on Lariat`s and above. However, if you want LED`s on the Lariat, you must upgrade to the 502A package which also includes other items.

It`s just marketing to create a demand for very popular feature which is the reason why you see so many aftermarket companies offering LED headlight conversions because they know most people can`t or will not justify the cost of the 502A package.

In my opinion, it`s worth it because you get more than just the LED Headlights and that`s the reason I purchased my 2016 Lariat with the 502A package.

I`m not sure how much you`re willing or want to spend but right now, you can fine great deals on Lariat`s with the 502A package.

Y traveld out of state to get mine and it was worth the drive.

Oops.......sorry for the typos in the last two paragraphs.....

You can "find" great deals on Lariat`s with the 502A package.

"I" traveled out of state to get mine and it was worth the drive.

Ford never gives as much rebates on the Lariat so my dealers never want to give anywhere close the discounts on a Lariat compared to XLT. I can get rebates and dealer discount on an optioned out 2016 XLT of $12,000 but only about a $8,000-$9000 on Lariat.
