I am in the market of upgrading to a 2015 F150 and really want to ensure I get the Quad beam lights. Out here in Wyoming driving at night with all the animals makes for having sold lights a must. In my research I have seen the 502A package is the package they gets them for you. Now my question is I have seen some with the yellow band around the light housing and some without. Is this a style option depending on the color or do all the Quad beams have this?

All quad beams have the outline.

All quad beam LED's have it. All halogen type do not have it. It is only available in properly equipped Lariat and above models.

 

Thanks!! Does the outline light up when the truck is turned on? I've been searching for some online and from the picks it doesn't show the outline, but the window sticker shows has the 502A package.

 

The outline only lights up when the parking lights/headlights are on. It looks GREAT in the dusk/dark but hardly noticeable in the daytime.

FTR, if you see the 2 rectangle LED projectors in the headlights, it has the "C clamp LED" around the headlight.

 

I wish it was on as the DRL through the day, in white but that's just me.
