Default Push button start

Hi guys, push button to start and remote start both giving issues. It takes one push button and depressing the brake to start, when I do that I get a sound like the fuel pump pumping and/or buzzing and nothing happens. Sometimes I get a hard click like starter was about to turn over but immediately stops. 2nd try usually works and truck starts up. Battery on a load test appears good. This happens even after a long trip and at that point im sure the battery has also been fully charged. Could that just be the starter relay? I wonder if it could be the battery after all? Any one with this issue? 2015 f150, 5.0

Battery could have good volts but bad amperage. Did you check both on the load test?

maybe use jumper cables with another vehicle and see if problem persists.

I've got the same issue on a 2016 King Ranch. So would like to hear what you did to address. Im headed out of town next week and concerned that we might get stranded.

Check all your underhood grounds. There are a lot of them.

Scanned under the hood. All seem tight. I found four. Sound like the right amount? The delay still happened this afternoon. Definitely scratching my head here.
