Default Purchasing a new jack

I'm looking into buying a new rolling jack for the truck since the one I have can't handle the weight. What lift height do you guys recommend?

Just bought a 3 ton Pittsburgh Automotive Model #68048 floor jack at Harbor Freight today. On sale for $89.95 (regular $159.85). Max saddle height 18 1/4". High enough to get jack stands under the truck. Only drawback - it's a heavy SOB at 75 lbs.

I have a Craftsman 4 ton that I bought from Sears, it lifts the whole side of the truck easily so it's great for front to back tire rotation!

That's exactly the one I was considering!

That harbor freight one is what I have. Mine is an older model so it's orange. It's very good. I used it daily for 5 year when I was in the used car business. Never had a problem. Still works fine after all that use.

There's a low profile version for another $5 that has a max lift of 19 3/4" with a min height of only 2 7/8".

Does anyone know what the tradeoff would be? The low profile one would be easier to use with my car. I can't see anything in the description that would suggest I'd be giving up something for the lower profile.
