Default Pulled the trigger on LT275/6520 Tires!!

As the title states, I have pulled the trigger on LT275/6520 tires. I got the same Goodyear all terrain adventures like the original ones. They had to order them and I got them for $1326 OTD. To be honest I'm a little nervous that they might rub but I have done some extensive research on the forums and theres a guy that bought a new 2015 and had that size put on and has no rubbing. Just wanted more stability pulling my camper. I just cant keep using P tires for pulling 8k+lbs even though they say to inflate them to max pressure. If I wasn't pulling a trailer then I would keep what I have. I'll sell my old 275 5520s on craigslist or fb marketplace. The truck just turned 3000 miles. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks.

You'll be much happier pulling your trailer and should not have any issues rubbing.

Can't say I'd have bought Goodyear's.

I hope it doesnt look too bad without the front end being leveled. Did you upgrade to that size?

I don’t think it will look bad at all. I actually subscribed to this thread, hoping you’ll post up a few pics once they are on! I’m thinking of doing something similar.

I hope so. I cant wait to get them. They'll be in tomorrow but the manager which is a friend of mine I've known for a wont be in until Tuesday. Since those tires are the same as my originals, she will work out a even swap since my tires dont have a lot of miles on them. Meaning that, I'll pay for the tax and the mounting and balancing of the tires and it should be between $175-200 total for everything. Fingers crossed.

Actually I think it looks even better when the front hasn't been leveled. Fills the wheel wells in better.

I have a couple of different sets I run - summer/hiway tires/rims are 275-60-20 and my offroad set up is 285-65-20. I'm leveled using ICON's (Stage III)

I was told by some people that the front wheels will look stuffed in the front wells. Im not trying to lift my truck if I dont have to. Those 285s are a good size also. I felt that a wider tire wasn't necessary. We shall see. So are you sure it will look good without a level? How many inches of lift do you have on yours?

Default Finally got my LT275/6520's put on today!! No leveling kit.

Well folks I finally had them installed today. I went with the LT275/6520. OTD price was 1016.00. I went with the Mastercraft(Cooper)Courser AXT which is basically very close to the same as the Cooper Discoverer AT3. Very happy with the price and ride quality. Quiet tire. I've had my original goodyears up to 51psi which is the max pressure. I've inflated the Mastercrafts up to 51psi even though theres a max pressure of 80psi. They have inflated to 35psi which is what the door says and that's standard procedure that they have to go by that which is BS. It's not that much of a stiffer ride compared to the old ones. It's a truck, not a Cadillac. I'm thinking about leveling out the front 1.5" but they're not as stuffed as I thought so I might run it for a while as it is. The jury is still out on that one. No rubbing at all whatsoever. Not even on the plastic fender well liners or the mudflaps. Here are some before and after pics.

After. It fills the wheel wells up very well. Now it looks like a truck. My originals look like car tires compared to the new ones.

My speedometer is only off by 2-2.5 mph. Nothing too terrible. I expected it. I'll calibrate VIA forscan. I dont at all notice taking off slower. Feels the same. I'm pulling my 8900lb camper tomorrow for the first time with them so we shall see how they will perform. Hopefully much better than the stock ones.

Well count me as thinking it looks great. I think you made a better choice for tires also.

Congrats and enjoy.
