Our curb wt. is about 5683, divided by the 4 tires that comes to 1421 lbs. per tire, well under the max of 1910 @ 35 psi. Naturally as the weight of the truck and towing increases so will the psi. I think this logic is sound.
The only issue I see with this is that on a truck most of the weight is on the front end, you can't divide the weight evenly by four. To figure it out correctly you need to weigh the front and rear separately and adjust pressures between the two tires holding the individual axle weight.

Yes, on my last truck with E-rated 37" Toyo's I ran 40-42 in the front, (heavy Cummins diesel) and 26-28 in the rear. Got over 60K miles on the tires and they weren't bald when I changed them out.

When tires are a couple hundred dollars it is not as big of a deal, but when tires are $600 each I like to make them last as long as possible.

'19 F150 4x4 with Michelin 265/70-17s instead of the factory M&S. I weighed the truck when I got it had more than 60% of the weight on the front when empty. When loaded I run more in the rear. I already have more than 20k on them and they are wearing evenly.
