Default PSA Rear camera

I haven’t seen it posted here, but it seems Ford is running a customer satisfaction service on the rear camera of many products including the F150 for 15 years unlimited miles.

My ‘16 Lariat had a blue screen rear camera that was fixed by stealing ground from the tailgate handle LED, but I think I’m going to have it fixed properly by Ford.

I also had the ground issue on my 2015 rear camera, I ran a wire to a ground behind the rear bumper. I'll leave it as is but would be interested to hear details about Ford's solution.

Edit:
Looks like Ford's plan is to replace the camera, that won't fix the ground wire issues some have had.

If I already had to replace my rear camera, can I get my money back?
