Talking Proximity Lock

Keyless entry, Now Ford team up with another company so I don't have to use my key that I no longer uses to open my home door. Push button is making me lazy but I love it.

You can buy electronic locks that require a keycode to enter, and then you don't need to carry a house key with you at all. Schlage makes them, and you can get them at a big box store. This is what some friends of mine have done. They can program their own key codes.

Same here. Also you can use any key that you already have to set the tumblers so you dont have to have multiple keys for say your garage, front door, back door, deer camp, etc.

I have Schlage locks on the house. When I decided to get a keypad deadbolt for the front door, I ordered it online and used the code on the key for the locks I already have. The new lock arrived keyed alike to my existing locks.

Nest also makes one that integrates with the Nest Secure. Only downside to the Nest x Yale is that there is no key backup.
