Yeah, I was always suspicious of Maxtrac's claim of 7". I can tell you that the Maxtrac kit is way easier to install. For 2wd owners you basically cut the install time in half.

Is there any benefit to using the RC vs the Maxtrac kit. Since you've done both maybe you can give me some insight.

I'm looking at lifting my 2wd and I can't make up my mind which kit to use.

For me I like the Maxtrac kit since it's easier to install and go back to stock. The downside is that it does push the front wheels 0.5" out further, I was worried at first but it's really hard to tell if the front wheels are pushed out further. This might limit your wheel selection if you want to go with a wide wheel or you might need more trimming to fit.

The spindle lift is simple. Using a crossmember lift like Rough country required swapping all the front lower suspension parts to a new crossmember and brackets which means more parts that could potentially fail.

I also like the fact that my truck has plenty of ground clearance and doesn't have a crossmember hanging under the truck.

Either way they are both good options. It's all preference.

What did that raptor front bumper cost him? I've been thinking about doing the swap but i've yet to get a price that doesnt make me pucker.

I think ill personally be going with the maxtrac 4.5"/2" w/ Bilsteins. 22x10 or maybeeee 22x12 on a 33x12.50

Check auto anything they often run 20% promos and it was the best price we could find. If you're looking for 22x10 I've got a set of Black Rhino revolution wheels that I'm putting up for sale. I ordered them for my truck but bought forces instead

I believe the Raptor bumper was $425 shipped

Looks great!! Both trucks.

I need to replaced my bumper because it was hit. Been looking at this bumper. I was afraid it was too light weight though. What's your thoughts? The factory bumper prices have lowered quite a bit since mine was hit. I was leaning towards replacing mine with the factory but that means I have to get a new mounting plate and plastic grille. With this one I don't need those.

About the fog lights I did see a truck online with dual rigid lights I believe so there's either a kit or custom made. It was at a dealership somewhere. I'll try to find and post.

If I replace mine with a factory bumper, let me know if the bumper, mounting plate (I only need the passenger side) and the bumper plastic grille would be for sale.

Thanks
