Default Programmer questions

So I bought a programmer for my 3.5 EB with the 5 star tunes. I loaded an 87 economy, 87 perf/tow, 93 economy, 93 performance, and 93 perf/tow. So far I've only been able to test the 87 eco since I had just put my wheels and tires on I wanted to see how it performed (both performance and MPG) compared to stock. Surprisingly they are very close. But what am I to expect with the other programs? do the Performance just boost HP somehow other than increase boost? what results are you seeing? Does paying the extra for 93 offset the gains?

Startin off with the Eco your not going to see much of a difference in my opinion, mainly in the trans. I have a 2.7 tubed with 5 star and I tried the Eco tune out on a road trip. Didn't really see any difference. I primarily run the 93 performance only tune.... Yes there is a significant difference in the vehicle. I don't really tow. So that's where it stays. If need be I can switch it to a tow tune. I say yes it's worth the offset. But that is just my opinion. The truck is just lame now otherwise.

at a 20% increase in fuel cost from 87 to 93 octane, are you seeing any mpg increase?

Yeah eco tunes dont do much unless you REALLY baby it.

Make sure your tank is full of the correct octane b4 u use that octane tune.

I usually stayed on the 91 tune since i couldnt always find 93.
