Production Havoc Looming?

Good Luck getting your new Alumin-Um F150s by Spring of 2015. Note "retail" orders are at best FEB2015...and of course there will be unforseen production and quality inspection delays that put shipments on hold.
Hope this is not the case and seemless production integration ensues.

1. Aluminum is difficult to work with
2. Ford is being cautious
Both are obvious....not sure where "havoc looming" comes in to play here.

A few months ago I spoke with my local Ford dealer because I'm antsy to check a '15 out in person. He told me way back then that I shouldn't expect to see any on the lot until late January at the earliest. This isn't news.

My salesman told me (not that I'm buying a 2015) that any dates that anyone puts out are BS. Based on his extensive experience over the years, he says you won't see any until late first quarter at the earliest, and perhaps later.
