Default "In Production"

COTUS shows my vehicle In Production since 7/13. Seems like a long time. Any thoughts?

The status of "In Production" doesnt actually mean the truck is being built. It more means it's being scheduled. Like mentioned above, the blend date is the actual date of your truck being built and it's typically completed in 24-48 hours.

Actually when it goes in production it goes in production, the body goes to paint as a whole unit and parts and assemblies are being assigned, I have a sticker from the back of my rear seat with the vin number and a date several days before the blend date. The body is disassembled before sent to the final assembly line. The blend date is when the frame is blended into the final assembly line.

Blend date listed is 220180722 and blend # is 6247. So it goes in to be built today?

To the OP, once it gets out of production it could be as long as 2 months. Mine was 6 weeks. Torture for sure!

Make sure you check the Jack Cooper Transport PALS page. My truck had already been delivered to the dealer and it showed Awaiting Shipment in COTUS for another 2 days.
