Default Problems with TPMS sensors

Hi everyone, I've been having a problem with the TPMS sensors on my truck for a while now.
I bought four TPMS sensors for my 2015 F-150 XL and programmed them correctly, the tire pressure warning light went off, and the instrument panel showed the correct air pressure reading for each tire,
however, after a couple of days, the warning light came back on, i checked the air pressure on the instrument panel and whether any of the sensors had become unprogrammed, but everything seemed fine, I reprogrammed the TPMS sensors again, and the warning light went off, but two days later, the same thing happened again. Has anyone else experienced this? Could you explain the cause?.
For additional information, I have 20-inch wheels with 275/65/R20 all-terrain tires inflated to 39 psi.

  1. Do you have any aftermarket LED bulbs?
  2. Have you checked for DTCs?
  3. Are you using a cordless charger for your phone?

Hello.

1. Yes, I have LED bulbs for the low beams and fog lights.

2. Yes, I've scanned the vehicle with several computers and it doesn't detect any problems.

3. I don't use any charger.

It's possible your LED bulbs are interfering. Some LEDs can affect garage door openers, key FOB range, TPMS sensors, etc. They can cause interference with other wireless devices. You might try getting everything working again and then turn on the low beams and/or fog lights and see how your TPMS sensors respond. Or if you have the original low beams and fog lights, reinstall and see if things work.

If you run tire pressures very low for ride improvement and to near the low side alarm level; when the outside temp drops, the TPM can go into alarm from low pressure.
Reason is the air density gets higher and takes up less inside space volume.
You may have to raise the Tire pressure to avoid this.
Here in the northeast, at some gas stations there is now often a line of cars at the Air Pumps for the same reason if the outside Ambient has dropped quite far down.
I find the low limit of the TPM is about 27 psi +/- depending on the individual wheel.
Often when doing a drive cycle, a wheel that was in alarm will clear from Tire normal heating, then return again if the ambient is still low after a full cooling time where the lowest nighttime Temps occur around 5 to 6 am.
Vehicles parked outside are more likely to show this effect.

How I know the effect; I run tires at 30 psi for ride reasons to my passenger with a Spinal fault and use of a padded seat to take up more road shock.
When Temps drops below 40* the tire pressure will drop into the 29 psi or lower range.
If the temp goes lower on one or more wheels will go into alarm.
For winter, now must raise the pressure back to 32 to account for the outside ambient ranges below over the longer term until Spring arrives again, then remove air again as the running pressure goes higher from the internal heat of expansion and outside ambient.
Good luck.
