Default Problem updating Sync 3

So I have a 2016 with version 1.0 currently running for sync 3. I have double checked and I do have the "check for automatic updates" feature selected, as well as being connected to my home wi fi. Yet, it seems my system has not/will not update to at least version 1.1.

Does anyone know why this would be? It appears on Fords website that it should have automatically done this, even with the car not on at some point in the 2 months that I have owned the truck. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

You have to go online to owner.ford.com log in to your my ford account look for sync and it will give you an update for your truck. Get a 32g thumb drive and it will walk you through the steps. Believe me it's 2017 and this shouldn't have been such an issue. Also you might need to get a new USB hub and replace your current one the old USB hubs won't support certain things like CarPlay here's the USB hub I ordered.

I had the exact same situation as you with wifi and no updates. I got the USB and downloaded it from the Ford owner site.
