Hey guys I was trying to install both my rear backup and blinker LED lights from f150leds while watching the video they published on how to install them, mine are different from the one he is using.

Skip to second 56, there you can see when he pulls out the whole piece out of the truck.

There you can see two different connections for each bulb, in my truck there is nothing but a big connector and some sort of aluminium lid.
























I hope someone can help me with this. My trucks info is in my Sig.

 

Umm I hate to tell you this but you already have full LED taillights, turn signal, and backup lights in your truck. Your truck also has the BLIS blind spot system. Get your money back!

 

You already have LED turns and backup lights in Lariat 501A

 

I could be wrong but it appears you already have the factory LED's my XLT has the standard bulbs and is completely different.

 

Well, I feel like an idiot right now. I did replace my third brake lights for LEDs as they were having the burning problem, I didn't think my taillights were already LED since the headlights were halogen. I'm gonna have to email them and see if I can get my money back, wish me luck.

Bummer man but good luck on the refund. If your truck didn't have BLIS then they would have been regular bulbs, all blis are LED tails.

 

Don't feel that way, we are all here to help each other and I'm sure they will help you out on the return. There are plenty people on this site that will get enjoyment at others mistakes, misfortunes and accidents. Ignore them all.

 

Thanks! I should've asked around here before buying them. I only hope other people don't make the same mistake that I did. As for the return, they replied within an hour of me emailing them, I will get my money back (:
