Default Price

I am buying a Lariat this week and am interested to see what price everyone is getting. I understand Invoice - rebates is pretty common but will the dealer go lower. The vehicle that I am looking at has $1,611 in hold back. MSRP is 54,850.

Let me know what kind of price you paid or if you have any suggestions. Thanks guys.

My personal experience is that dealers were much more willing to move on pricing at the end of the month. I assume that this is so that they could meet sales goals. I pulled the trigger last week after a dealer in Atlanta emailed me on 7/29 and offered me a price ~$350 above A/Z. I also had a dealer in Charlotte email me and offer me D Plan on 7/31 but it was good for that day only.

Don't consider rebates in the sales price of the truck. They don't effect the dealer at all as they come from Ford and don't hurt their bottom line. All you need to consider is invoice, hold back, and advertising. Also, the only fees that are non-negotiable are the government fees for tag, tax, title.

See my earlier post about how to view the actual pricing on your truck: https://www.f150forum.com/f118/view-...rd-com-309154/

we must have the same Lariat because mine had the exact same MSRP. Got mine for $46,400 +TTL. Basically invoice - $1,000 - holdback - rebates. Rebates are better now so you should be able to get it cheaper than I did. Contact Holiday Ford in Whitesboro, TX.

Here are a couple that are close to what you all got and looking at. You can play the end of the month, invoice game but these people seem to have a great price on there web page. I use them to haggle with. Works very well.

With a quick search to my local dealers with ZERO haggling they offer this...

$54,840 MSRP shows advertised price of $46,491.

And they aren't even the cheapest! Try one of these for a better deal...

Where do you live? Get a $200 or less 1-way plane ticket and drive it home. I'll spend a couple hundred to save thousands ALL DAY EVERYDAY!
