Question Power Steps

Has anyone noticed a little "give" in their power steps when they step on them after being deployed? I have about 2700 miles on my 2016 Plat. SCREW and have noticed that the driver side has a little "slop" when stepped on. After the initial step it's fine but you can tell it gives about a 1/4"-1/2" when initially stepped on. Just wondering if anyone else has this same issue or if this is normal? I was assuming once deployed these things were rock solid. And yes, before you ask, I have checked ALL the bolts and they are tight, it seems like the slop comes from the hinge and the little rubber "pad" inside said hinge. Let me know your thoughts! Thanks!

Mine seem solid - roughly the same mileage as yours. The only thing that's caught me off guard is the slow deployment. I've had a couple times where I've opened the door and tried to step on them before fully deployed, resulting in a thud.

Funny, I think they seem slower when exiting than when entering....

Mine are rock solid-plenty of deployment and retracking speed, when my door is open enough for for entry or exit they are deployed no waiting

Mine are solid, almost as if they are standard running boards. I've got about 8,300 miles on my truck and I'm a big boy (270lbs). I love how they protrude out further and are a few inches lower than running boards.

Yeah, that's when it's happened to me. I ended up stepping on them on egress before fully deployed, resulting in them slamming open.

What's the maximum weight on these boards?
