Hi All,

In the latest saga of "I shouldn't have bought a 1st year model" the drivers side power step won't deploy anymore. It comes out about 1/2 way and then just retracts again. I've sprayed some silicone on the moving parts and opened and closed to the door to try and get it to work itself in but it doesn't want to come down and stay down.

Is there an option to replace the step or ? I'm not really sure what the issue is with this thing.

 

I had both mine replaced under warranty . Was having same issue . They replaced the motors .

 

Does anyone know the motor part number for the drivers side? I can't seem to find it searching through the parts catalogs.

 

Mine were doing the same and they replaced the hinges under warranty and no problem since, so I would try to verify what is causing the issue.
