Default Power seat issues?

So I may be going crazy as im still getting used to having a truck but everytime I get into it after an extended period of time it seams like the seat resets. I have a 2015 XLT so i do not have memory seats. I have not tested leaving the seat up all the way to see if it does the same thing because I usually have my kids that I need to get out of the back. Just wondering if anyone else has had a similar issue?

I kept saying he same thing in my 2016 xlt. Pretty sure it's my leg getting in and out hitting the power buttons. I think that's what I've narrowed it down to

I would agree.......the buttons are easy to hit..while leaning in....my rear dog cage is the only notice that the seat back is moving...lol

The control buttons are in the wrong place, and extend too far out. Luckily the memory function saves me. Drives me nut tho, not being able to recall the memory position while driving. I usually throw it in drive before I notice I am not as upright as I like to be.

I tried pulling the button off but don't want to snap it.

There was another post about this and I thought they said they pulled the switch covers but as gettingpwnd said I am not sure how easy it is to do.

Are you hitting them on the way out or the way into the truck. You can assign your remote to any of the memory positions so when you unlock the truck it will go back to your memory position automatically. If your hitting it on the way in then it won't matter.

Probably both.

I often only use the fob twice a day, and use the keypad for all other entry.

You can assign your key pad code to a memory as well.

Mine still does it on occasion, once even at the dealer. They were at a loss.
