Default power running boards

I have a 2016 limited and my drivers side power running board is acting weird. It goes down fine but when I close the door it goes up and comes back down and stays down. If i use my foot to to help it up it stay up. I already sprayed the hell out of it with lubricant is there some kind of pressure switch or sensor i can clean? Any idea why??????

I have to high pressure wash the PRBs fairly frequently in the winter as they get pretty gummed up. Then I spray a light silicone lubricant on them. Work them up and down many times to try and work out any grit in them. After they start working better, then I spray white lithium grease on them afterwards to try and keep the debris away. Needless to say, the driver side is always the worst.
