Touching the inside of the driver's exterior door handle will unlock the driver door. Touching the inside of the passenger door will unlock all the doors.

So I just changed the setting and tried moving my hand inside the door handle and all the doors unlocked. On my Lincoln MKZ, you just walk near the doors and all of them open. That's what I was expecting to happen. Thanks for the clarification.

Yes for all doors. The doors shouldn't just unlock when you get close. You need to tap the black plastic part located within the inside of the door handle while the key is on you. Unless I'm missing some new feature that you have.

If the setting is set to Drivers Door, I just get close to door and it opens.

Yep!

Also, hit the exterior outer most button on the handle and it will lock the doors.
