Default Possible BCM Problem

Hi There, I believe I might be having an issue with my BCM and would like some opinions.

I have a 2015 f150 lariat and lately I have been having issues with random warning lights and issues doors, windows etc. It initially started with random warning lights for traction control and abs sensors and then the tailgate wouldn't open and then the drivers window would only open half an inch for a few days. The window works fine now but i am still getting warning lights that come and go. The tailgate would open with the Key fob button but not the button on the tailgate. Thinking the tailgate with keyless entry was a separate problem i replaced the button and the actuator which has not worked. I am now starting to think that it is the bcm.... thoughts?

Start simple. Get a battery capacity check at one of the parts retailers. They generally do it for free. These vehicles with a lot of electronics are prone to glitches with a weak battery.

Default Possible BCM issue update.

Thanks for the advice on the battery, I went and had it checked it was reading OK however only 74% charged, which is weird. I don’t stop and start the car a lot, they said the alternator was currently running fine, but might be intermittent given the low charge.

Continuing to have sensors and issues come and go when I started I had warning lights for hilltop start assist and ABS as well as back up sensors not functioning . After the truck ran for 10 minutes those went away.

You could also check the BCM and area for corrosion. There are group points nearby. Sometimes there is water intrusion in this area.
