A couple of times over the past few days, I've started the truck and the display asks for Trip 1 / Trip 2 selection. Before, it always defaulted to the last trip I was on. If something is draining the battery, does the management system shutdown cause this issue?

 

If you still have the factory battery I would get it load tested. These trucks do all sorts of weird things when the battery voltage is too low during an engine start.
