Default Poor steering/handling

Last September I picked up a new 2016 Supercab with the 8' box and the HDPP and I don't think it steers or handles properly, the front tires want to follow every groove or dip in the road without giving the feedback to the steering wheel so it essentially feels like you're driving a worn out truck. I have replaced the stock tires with 10 ply tires and have tried different air pressures to correct it but nothing works, it is also the same way with snow tires. This week I took it to the dealer to see what they say but all they're telling me is "That's the way these trucks drive because of the large tires and electric steering". I have a friend with the exact same vehicle and his doesn't do it, has anyone else experienced this kind of handling in their new truck? It's quite scary when travelling snow packed roads because you can't tell where the wheels are headed but you can feel the truck swaying side to side as it follows other tire tracks and seems worse at moderate speeds. If anyone can help me I would appreciate it.

Did the dealer drive it? Take a similar truck for a test drive and verify that. If you notice a difference get a tech to drive both back to back.

For what it's worth, I have a 2016 XLT Super Crew 145" wheelbase... and the steering is pretty much perfect. The power rack-and-pinion on these trucks is surprisingly good. I would suggest an alignment check, -AND- I will strongly suggest replacing the poor excuse for factory-equipped shock absorbers on these trucks.

Again, be sure the all four wheels are squared up and aligned to specification, THEN invest in a set of good quality shock absorbers. Everyone around here including myself has installed four Bilstein 5100s.

Good luck.

I'll ask again to make sure it has the latest programming, it was built last summer so it should have but I think part of the problem is the dealer thinks this is normal steering.
