Out today and saw what looked like a nice GMC truck in front of me. It had that fancy newish tailgate. Directly above the hitch receiver was a ball shape dent in the tailgate!
Obviously deployed the tailgate fully before removing the hitch.....poor guy

That probably warped the frame.

 

Any poor sap that damages one of these “tailgate wars” tailgates is looking at an instant 3k bill to fix. Any manufacturer.
