Default PO451 Code

The hose off the evap is no longer in the bed frame since I've removed the bed. It was just mounted into a cross member and breathing. I should do something with but all my frame members are sealed.. Make a breather box for it?

I'm assuming the PO451 that just showed up has to do with this just hanging there..

Then again... maybe not... Suggestions?

Look to the left of center an half way up from center to see the connection I'm referring to.

P0451 is a fuel tank pressure sensor electrical issue. I do not think your "loose hose" could cause this.

Interesting.. The cap that came on the truck (new to me) had a broken top so I replaced it. Oh would it be nice as it's as simple as getting the right cap! I'm hoping just too much here.

Thank you for the response!

Now, on that loose hose... I'm thinking putting a screen on it and tucking it back over the spare tire. I don't think basic road dust would be good for it.. Any better thoughts?

The loose hose I believe is the canister vent hose, normally open to air during a purge cycle.
