Just upgraded the entirety of my Lariat to the Platinum brushed metal across the board. I don't have the words to express how much better quality the metal trim is. It was an expensive upgrade, but well worth it. For the door handles and instrument panel surround, which is unfortunately plastic on all trims, I went with the Limited trim. The Platinum door handles I listed above were fully black, the Limited is a little lighter in color, and goes better with my camel Lariat.

For any of you XL/XLT guys looking to swap your trim out for the Lariat version, I will be selling all of my old trim and my steering wheel on the cheap in the classified section of the forum shortly.
