Default Plastic box liner

Does Anyone have the plastic drop in liner in their truck? IMO, they just seem tougher, less likely to dent etc....

I am torn between Line X and drop in....

I have the liner but not the truck. Truck isn't here yet, but liner is. An extra one got ordered and I'm saving it for my truck when it arrives. It's the ford one. Seems to be good quality. I'm sure the spray in is fine too. I just like the idea of being able to throw it out and get another new one in a few years if it gets all beat up. Spray in is too permanent for me.

Normally, I would agree with you. The plastic liners can get damaged, without actually damaging the truck bed. I have had the drop in ones on my last two trucks.
Have you seen the new drop in liners? They have holes all over the place, for the tie downs, LED box lights and switch.

I bought my 2015 from dealer inventory. It already had the spray in liner. I am so happy it does. Less clunky, looks better, better utilizes the available space, and all factory options are easy to access.

I have put bikes in the bed several times. Have you seen all the metal bits sticking out from your average bike? It has held up perfectly. I am not hauling anything too large and heavy, that I am worried about damaging the bed. And for the record, I use my truck as a truck when I drag around my travel trailer

I had the drop-in liner in my '04 and opted for the spray in this time and am very glad I did. I hated how things slid around on the plastic liner so much.

Yes, the 15 drop in line has lots of holes in it. This might be an issue if you plan to haul loose stone, mulch or dirt. It could get behind the liner and you'd have to pull it out to clean. I think it might come with plugs for the holes. I didn't look in the box of stuff that comes with it yet.

I have the factory drop in plastic liner with a rubber mat to keep things from sliding around. For me it works great. Also have a roll up bed cover. Everything stays dry but it's also handy to have a long hook to pull things from the front of the bed to you.

I have the drop in plastic liner from ford and it does come with plugs to cover up the holes you don't use. I went with the drop in as I have a tonneau cover and I don't haul too much stuff.

Only thing I don't like about the drop in liner is that the box lights and the switch are recessed in the box liner quite a bit and in turn make the lights look like an after thought. I've always had drop in liners so I didn't not order the spray in liner. Now that I've seen a drop in liner installed I will take the truck for linex instead. Never had a problem with a drop in liner but it just doesn't look right in the 15 f150 IMO.
