Perimeter PLUS add-on needed for shock sensor capability?
I have a 2016 XLT SCREW with the 302A package and Perimeter alarm. I'd like to add shock sensor capability to it (at present, I can beat on the windows or shove on it all day, or wave my hand all around inside of the cab, and nothing happens). If I grab the inside door handle to open it, then the alarm will sound.
I see the Youtube videos of similar trim trucks where doing any of these would trip the alarm. My window sticker merely says "Perimeter Alarm".
I'd like the cab intrusion capability to work, and the shock sensor capability. My understanding is that Perimeter PLUS give these, as well as remote start--but I already have factory Remote Start on the truck, so I'm confused. What would I need to add in order to do what I want?

The interior alarm is an add-on. They place four motion sensors in the overhead console.
Not sure it's something that can easily be added.
My truck came with it and the installation would require replacing the entire overhead console and some reprogramming.
Another thread showing what they look like.

From research in the forums, there is Perimeter PLUS, or some undefined 3rd-party methods of adding shock sensors (and some kind of alerting beyond the horn and lights). Does that sound right?
Perimeter PLUS is a Ford add on. It goes behind the OBD port and the box is mounted under the dash. The motion sensors only came on the Lariat and above. It is up gradable in the XLT with the correct overhead consul, wiring and programming.
The "intrusion detection" overhead motion sensors would be nice, but it seems to be quite a lot of work--especially if someone has breeched the doors/glass already to get into your car, the game is over already.
I guess I'm looking more for ***shock sensor*** capability (say, someone hits the side of your car with their car, dings your door with their door, hits your window trying to break it/with their fist, just because. Something that would set off the horn saying, "hey, we just got hit!!" Or say, if someone's trying to tow/jack/move your car without keys or proper access.
Does Perimeter Plus have that capability? Can there be a successful 3rd party add-on that will introduce a shock sensor array to feed into the existing Perimiter alarm/horn/immobilizer system?
I'm sure I'm being misunderstood, or I didn't clarify further.

I have not heard of any 3rd party alarms that “feed” into the OEM system.
